Following various requests from broadcasting stations for clarification concerning the times when diverse programme categories can be broadcast prior to 9.00p.m., the Authority has established the following rules:
- Programmes which are classified as U, PG and 12 may be broadcast at any time during the day but in case of programmes classified as PG and 12 they must have the classification symbol in vision on the screen in terms of the Authority's Requirements on Family Viewing and Listening.
- Programmes which are classified as suitable for children above 16 years may be broadcast from 7.00p.m. till 6.00a.m. subject to the classification symbol being shown as above.
- Programmes which are classified as AO should be broadcast between 9.00p.m. and 6.00a.m. subject to the classification symbol being shown as above.
